In memory of Queen Elizabeth II

Speaking on behalf of the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, chief executive Julie Paterson said:
“We were deeply saddened to hear the news about Queen Elizabeth II, and our thoughts are with the Royal Family."
Sixty years ago, the Queen signed the warrant appointing the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland to be set up under the Mental Health (Scotland) Act, 1960.
