Commission publishes new local visit reports - 18 December 2019

The Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland today published fifteen new reports, on its visits to NHS hospital wards and units, two independent facilities and one prison.
The reports highlight positive and negative findings from the Commission's visits, three of which were unannounced. They make recommendations for change where necessary. The Commission expects a response to each of its recommendations within three months of the reports being published.

"We undertake over 100 local visits like these every year. By publishing our reports we hope to help share good practice where we find it, and call for change where services are lacking."
