Board member vacancy at Mental Welfare Commission

A recruitment campaign is now underway for a new Board member at the Mental Welfare Commission.

The Commission is particularly looking for someone with substantial management experience in:

  • mental health or learning disability health or social care service management,
  • mental health or learning disability service management in the third sector,
  • service management of relevant allied health professional services for people with
  • mental illness or learning disability.

This is challenging, rewarding and worthwhile opportunity for a person who wishes to work with the Commission to protect the rights and welfare of people with mental illness, learning disability and related conditions.

It is a public appointment, by Scottish Ministers.
