Themed visits

We have changed the way in which we carry out visits. In future, we will carry out three themed visits each year to individuals in services. Themed visits help us to highlight common issues for service users across Scotland. They also help us to compare individual experiences and to share good practice across Scotland.

Visits to individuals receiving care and treatment under mental health and incapacity law

We will still carry out visits to individuals who we have identified as being most at risk, these individuals will be targeted according to our monitoring priorities.
