The links below will take you to a number of resources that can be used flexibly as part of your teaching or training plan. The facilitator's pack suggests ways in which resources could be used. The resources contained in this pack will enable participants to

  • understand the role and duties of the Commission
  • describe the types of support we can provide
  • identify the types of contact they may have with us
  • explain the importance of the guiding principles of the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) Act and the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 
  • recognise the ways in which the Commission may require these principles to be applied in given cases.
