Mental health legislation and policy
- Review of mental health law
The Scottish Government are conducting a limited review of the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) Scotland Act 2003. The terms of the review are available from the Scottish Government website. - Flu pandemic and civil emergency responses
The Scottish Government consulted on proposed amendments to mental health law in the event of a flue pandemic or other civil emergency. We made several recommendations to safeguard the rights of people with a mental disorder. Click here to view our response
