CHAIR APPOINTMENT

Scottish Ministers are seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic applicants with a commitment to human rights, an understanding of the mental health and learning disability agenda and strong leadership skills to be considered for the position of Chair of the Mental Welfare Commission

As Chair, you will be expected to provide leadership for the Mental Welfare Commission.This appointment has atime commitment of a minimum of 45 days per year, with a fee of £323 (non-pensionable) payable for each day devoted to Commission business. You will also receive reimbursement for all reasonable travel and subsistence costs and any dependant carer expenses incurred whilst undertaking Commission duties.
